I hope we can have a good sized contingent- we have a number of qualified ROs at both clubs.

The 2018 nationals will be held in Frostproof the last weekend in October - there will be three back to back nationals.  I think this is overall a good move - it has to be less expensive to put on one big match instead of three.  If you are a certified RO/CRO, please consider working this match.  I suspect that you will not be required to work every one of the three different matches.  There's been a number of us from Maine work nationals, and I'm sure each would say it was a great experience.  There should be a staff application at the USPSA web site in the spring.

I would like to work and shoot the First and the 3rd match and make a family Vacation out of it.

This is definitely on my calendar, Nancie, too.  Not sure at this point if Iíll shoot or work all three matches.

Mike Foley reports that they are testing the online application portal this weekend, and that they want to get staff applications in early.  I wouldnít be surprised to see it up this month.  Mike also mentioned an ďenhancedĒ staff package, but didnít elaborate.
Iím not surprised they can be more generous with the staff as a combined nationals has be less expensive to run than three seperate ones.

I submitted, too.  It would be great to have a strong Maine contingent there!

I'm planning on singing up myself. Looking to work and shoot the Optics portion. I believe Jess will accompany me this year. Although just to spectate and make a small vacation out of it. What did you sing up for Lee? Whole match, any shooting?
